I took the dogs to a road race that my brother was participating in at Nelson Ledges, Ohio on October 3rd and 4th. There were 143 race cars entered in the 3-day event that started with hot laps on Friday. This was a 24-hour race that started at 12 noon on Saturday and ran non-stop through 12 noon on Sunday. There were thousands of people, cars buzzing around everywhere, motorcycles, bicycles, power tools, campers, campfires, dogs, pigs...just about everything imaginable!
The dogs did well. This was Jaf's second road race. He just turned 3 months old a few days ago. Azaan knows that she is supposed to sit quietly next to her handler while on the leash. Note that Jaf is looking a little bored with the whole thing! They got to camp out Saturday night amid the buzz of race cars running all night.
